Upon stepping into Edelweiss for a gourmet getaway, I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful gastronomic journey that awaited me. The beer selection was intriguing, with the Gageleer No Alcohol offering a unique pale yellow hue and fine bubbles that tickled my palate in a refreshing manner. As an avid enthusiast, I appreciate the art of brewing, and Edelweiss did not disappoint in this regard.The culinary delights at the restaurant surpassed my expectations, with flavors that resonated with a distinctive finish and a taste like no other. The use of three varieties of hops from different regions added an exceptional aroma to the dishes, creating an unforgettable dining experience. The barley wine with hints of vanilla, oak, and chocolate paired perfectly with the hearty stews, a true testament to the chef's mastery in blending flavors. The proximity of fine traditional cuisine at La Cabane and other nearby restaurants added an extra layer of culinary delight to my stay. Edelweiss not only offers a comfortable abode but also a haven for food enthusiasts seeking a unique culinary adventure in the heart of the Alps.
